This work will include the use of designs of experiments and statistical process control. Desired engineering strengths should include some mix of related experience with yield improvement, transfer of new technologies, sustaining manufacturing, or ramp-up of a new area. Hands-on participation and tool ownership are expected. Behavioral traits for this position include good communication and interpersonal skills, self-direction, teamwork, and attention to detail. In order to attract and retain the best talent, we provide a work environment that promotes flexibility, which we believe naturally leads to teamwork, creativity, and pride in work.\nJob Description:\nProcess development and characterization around the 110nm technology node to help facilitate transfer of new technologies and sustain newly released production nodes\nDrive continuous improvements in product quality, wafer yield, process stability, and cost reduction\nDevelop solutions to arising manufacturing challenges utilizing formal education, experience, and industry problem-solving tools to help prevent recurrence\nOptimize final product electrical parametrics, expand process tool availability, qualify newly purchased tools, and expand processes across new platforms\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nBS in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Microelectronics Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent\nJob related experience within a semiconductor processing facility or related equipment supplier\nExperience with design of experiments (DOE) principles and process characterization in a manufacturing environment\nDesired Experience:\n5 -7.5 years of dry etch experience. High preference given to previous Lam Poly, AMAT DPS Metal, or TEL DRM ownership.
