The candidate will be responsible for designing, building and ultimately delivering solutions designed to run in an AWS environment. This project uses Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices to ensure consistent, secure and timely delivery of capability and the candidate should be prepared to operate in such an environment.\r\nWhat you'll do\r\nYou will be working with a skilled team in an agile environment to support an application modernization effort where you will be expected to:\r\nContribute to customer satisfaction through quality code and on-time delivery.\r\nSupport and promote test-driven development (TDD).\r\nContinuously focus on and develop professional skills.\r\nPursue training/tools to fill needs.\r\nTranslate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.\r\nDesign, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.\r\nEnsure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.\r\nIdentify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to these problems.\r\nApply industry best practices and techniques to design, develop, test, deploy, support, and maintain complex React/Java applications based on business requirements using approved technologies and coding standards.\r\nAssist in project planning and architectural design reviews. Help to plan for future system design and development updates.\r\nCollaborate with development team for any programming issues, ensuring teamwork, troubleshooting, and path to resolution.\r\nCommunicate with team, customers, and stakeholders in a clear, concise, timely, and professional manner.\r\nSupport documentation needs such as SLA's, Software Design documents, SOP's, etc.\r\nQualifications\r\nBachelor's degree in Information Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Technology Management, or a degree in a closely related field.\r\n1-3+ years of experience, two years of experience may be substituted with an advanced degree.\r\nExperience designing and developing React and Spring Boot Java web-based applications.\r\nExperience working with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.\r\nExperience with modern Java frameworks such as Spring Boot.\r\nExperience in an Agile environment.\r\nExperience working with Agile tools (i.e., Jira, Confluence).\r\nExperience working with Docker.\r\nExperience with a modern client framework such as React, Angular, Vue, etc.\r\nKnowledge of HTML & CSS.\r\nExperience with Jenkins and DevSecOps practices.\r\nFamiliarity with Federal cybersecurity compliance work.\r\nVery good verbal and written communication skills.\r\nAn Interim Secret or Secret Clearance to start.\r\nPreferred\r\nExperience with DoD, DHA, VA, Air Force.\r\nWithin commuting distance of an Air Force Base, or Air Guard Base to access classified systems.\r\nExperience with Linux commands.\r\nExperience with WSL 2.\r\nExperience with PL/SQL.\r\nCompTIA Security+ certificate\r\nConcept Plus is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
