You’ll work outdoors, visit beautiful properties, and perform climbing and pruning duties using safe and efficient techniques.\nTypical responsibilities include:\n\nWorking as part of a crew to provide high-quality tree care, including pruning, removals, and cable bracing\nSafely operating climbing gear, chainsaws, and other equipment\nApplying proper pruning techniques and tree care practices\nFollowing safety procedures at all times\nDelivering excellent service to clients while maintaining professional standards\nThis is a physically active role where safety, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential.\n\nAbout You\nYou are motivated to work outdoors, eager to develop your climbing skills, and committed to safety. You bring:\n\nA desire to work outdoors in a physically active role\nA valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean DMV record\nAuthorization to lawfully work in the U.S.\nWillingness to learn and develop skills in:\n– Tree climbing (without spurs)\n– Proper pruning techniques\n– Identifying native and introduced tree and shrub species and understanding their characteristics\n– Tree care safety standards\n– Chainsaw and equipment operation\n\nAbout SavATree\nSavATree was founded 45 years ago with a mission to preserve trees threatened by the gypsy moth epidemic.
