This role offers a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same. The engineer will work hands-on with test equipment, assist in executing safety tests, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure vehicles meet all regulatory and consumer safety requirements.Mandatory SkillsHigh-Voltage Systems Experience (5+ years)Hands-on work with high-voltage components, likely in automotive or EV environmentsStrong understanding of safety protocols and handling proceduresVehicle Crash Testing & Safety Experience (5+ years)Direct involvement in crash testing, safety validation, or vehicle safety engineeringExperience supporting or executing safety tests and analyzing resultsVehicle Rebuild / Mechanical Experience (5+ years)Practical experience tearing down and rebuilding vehiclesStrong mechanical skills for test preparation and post-test analysisOther Mandatory Conditions (Not skills, but strict requirements)Must be based in or willing to relocate to Newark, CAMust be comfortable working onsite (not a remote role)Willingness to travel to test sites across the U.S.
