The internship lasts approximately 2 months or longer, depending on project progress. The intern will work 20-25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role focuses on support for a partner migration project, including device handling, inventory tracking and basic deployment support. A lunch and transportation allowance will be provided.\r\nKey Responsibilities & Learning Opportunities\r\nLearn and understand the basic characteristics and use cases of common payment terminals and PIN pads (PAX, Dejavoo, Valor, etc.) to support inventory and deployment operations.\r\nAssist with large-scale terminal reprogramming projects related to MID changes and account migrations.\r\nSupport inventory management in the Houston office, including tracking device status, serial numbers, and movement.\r\nBecome familiar with device-related CRM and internal systems, and assist with simple deployment and replacement requests.\r\nLearn the basic operation and configuration of payment devices, and help with entry-level troubleshooting tasks.\r\nAssist in processing merchant applications and entering client information into internal systems.\r\nProvide technical assistance for inbound questions related to terminal hardware under supervision.\r\nHelp ensure deployment tasks are completed accurately and within required timelines.\r\nQualifications\r\nMust be authorized to work in the US at the time of hire. We are an E-Verify employer.\r\nBilingual proficiency in Mandarin-Chinese is required, both written and verbal.\r\nMust be currently pursuing or have graduated with a Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in a STEM field.\r\nStrong ownership mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude.\r\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment.\r\nGood communication skills and willingness to learn technical concepts.\r\nAble to take initiative and solve problems with guidance.\r\nDetail-oriented and able to complete tasks before deadlines.\r\nAble to work both independently and as part of a team.\r\nProficient in MS Excel and Word (tracking, documentation, basic reporting).\r\nCompensation\r\nThis is an unpaid internship.
