Job Description An immediate opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist in a retail setting located in Elmira, NY. This direct hire position offers a permanent role with a consistent schedule totaling 36 hours bi-weekly. The hours are structured to meet customer needs while providing an efficient workflow:Monday through Friday: 9 AM – 7 PMSaturday: 9 AM – 5 PMSunday: 10 AM – 2 PMKey responsibilities include collaborating with the pharmacy manager to control inventory by tracking weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to maintain optimal supply and maximize profits. You will prepare and dispense medications accurately, provide guidance to patients on self-medication, and maintain communication with healthcare and insurance professionals. Regular patient immunizations are a critical part of this role. In the absence of the pharmacy manager, you may also take on supervisory duties such as scheduling staff, recognizing performance, and managing work assignments in alignment with company objectives.Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy or a PharmD degree, with a current New York Pharmacist license in good standing.
