Handler","description":"Hourly Rate: $20-$22/hour + Monthly incentive bonus after 90 days of employment.\nShift: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.\nSummary: The Material Handler is primarily responsible for fulfilling orders, organizing and maintaining existing inventory, loading and unloading delivery trucks, putting away stock and being a dependable and reliable team player.\nResponsibilities: Duties\nLocates material and pulls orders using established RF/warehouse procedures to fulfill orders;\nResponsible for unloading product (using both a forklift and hand loading) and putting away product accurately to designated areas within the warehouse;\nChecks in any incoming product using established RF/warehouse procedures for receiving, ensuring deliveries match the company purchase order;\nMeets or exceeds established goals for order pulling accuracy and inventory accuracy;\nPerforms any necessary activities to get products ready for staging such as accurate labeling, palletizing and/or wrapping ;\nPreps and assembles products as needed for custom non stock orders;\nSafely and efficiently operates equipment and machinery (defined by position) such as a forklift, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment;\nAssists in maintaining the warehouse in an orderly and clean state, and complies with all company safety policies and procedures;\nAssists with will-call service by helping load customer orders, or unloads material that is being returned using branch procedures and protocols;\nAssists with \"kitting\" related duties which include but are not limited to: Building transfers or work orders for kitting as specified by the customer, labeling material, assist with customized packaging solutions, etc.\nMay assist with conducting cycle counts as needed;\nCollaborates with Warehouse Management and team members to optimize workflow\nParticipates in any relevant material handling training as assigned by the Company;\nPerforms other related duties within the warehouse as assigned by Management.\nAdheres to all company policies, procedures and safety regulations.\nSkills: Technical Qualifications/Experience\nA minimum of one year experience in a similar position is preferred;\nPrevious experience in material handling, warehousing or logistics is a plus;\nExperience with RF devices is a plus;\nBasic understanding of inventory systems and order processing is a plus;\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment;\nExperience with forklift and ability to maintain forklift certification;\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills;\nBasic math and reading skills (in English) to interpret work orders, inventory labels, and safety information;\nGood communication skills and a positive attitude.\nPhysical Requirements\nThe employee is regularly required to sit; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel computer equipment; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; use hands and arms to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects; stand, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl;\nMay be required to move or traverse considerable distances in the facility during the course of a workday;\nMust have the physical abilities to perform essential warehouse tasks;\nMust have good physical fitness with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to a height of 3-4 feet and load product into trucks;\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time;\nAbility to ascend/descend a ladder to pull or put away product from shelving and racking;\nAbility to safely operate a dolly, pallet jack and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies.\nWorking Conditions:\nWarehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and conditions;\nFast paced environment with frequent physical activity;\nSafety PPE such as gloves, safety glasses and safety toed boots are required.\nExpected
