Ensure appropriate CAP OPSEC programs are compliant in accordance with applicable documentation. Maintain CAP physical and technical security in accordance with ICD 705. Manage the CAP security awareness and education programs, and conduct and document training. Manage CAP industrial security program, review and process related documentation, and provide program results to customers. This position requires 100% on-site support.\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities -\nReview, track, and monitor CAP/SAP security clearance processing activities with appropriate government personnel to achieve appropriate clearance actions\nAssist in defining, interpreting, and implementing CAP/SAP program security policy within the Wing\nProvide security policy interpretation concerning the CAP/SAP program Nomination Process\nReviews and comments on CAP/SAP security operating instructions, security plans, guides, and various security-related correspondence\nManages and administers CAP/SAP security awareness and education programs\nDirectly supports Wing CAP/SAP program office in the development, execution, and implementation of personnel CAP/SAP security issues.\nAssist with researching, processing, and completing CAP/SAP visit notices and certifications\nCreate/process Program Access Requests (PARs) and forward to next level for approval\nConducts Defense Central Index of Investigations (DCII) reviews and Joint Personnel Access System (JPAS) reviews\nProvides CAP/SAP classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence\nProcess CAP/SAP magnetic media for accountability\nMaintain various CAP/SAP daily logs for a variety of administrative functions associated with document control\nConduct CAP/SAP entry and exit inspections\nAssist in the maintenance of CAP/SAP facility access control entry systems, including visitor control\nAssist in maintaining personnel CAP/SAP security files for accessed Wing personnel\nFollow and enforce Wing CAP/SAP Standard Operating Procedures\nManage the CAP/SAP security awareness and education programs, conduct and document training\nManage the organization's CAP/SAP OPSEC program, develop OPSEC Plans and identify CPIs, and provide program effectiveness results to the government\nManage the organization's CAP/SAP Physical and Technical Security program, utilize ICD 705 in the development and management of secure facilities associated with the SCI and CAP/SAP\nManage the CAP/SAP industrial Security Program, review and process DD-254s, and provide results to the government\nProperly evaluate, prepare, and review CAP/SAP facility accreditation packages (e.g., Concept Validation, Fixed Facility Checklist (FFC), TEMPEST approval, Co-use Agreements (CUAs), Memorandum of Agreement (MOAs) and Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs)\nDevelop CAP/SAP physical security operating procedures and inspection checklists required by DoD, SCI, and CAP/SAP physical security and TEMPEST requirements\nConduct CAP/SAP compliance inspections and provide the government with required reports\nImplement Top Secret Control for accountable material and associated correspondence in the CAP/SAP office\nPrepare and/or process inbound and outbound CAP/SAP classified mail, faxes, courier packages and receipts\nParticipate in the Government's in-house and web-based security training program\nProvide input in support of the Monthly Status Report (MSR) detailing accomplishments and issues in task performance\nRequired Qualifications:\nThree-plus years providing security support to multi-level classified environments consisting of collateral and SCI to include recent experience (within last three years) in CAP or SAP environments\nWorking-level knowledge of the Defense Security Service (DSS) clearance process and a keen understanding of the intelligence community and CAP/SAP processes\nWorking-level knowledge of applicable security policy manuals, IC, DoD, SAP, AF, and other policy documents\nBasic understanding of DoD Contract Security Classification Specification (DD-254)\nEducation: High School Diploma\nClearance Requirement: TS/SCI, CAP/SAP clearable\nPhysical Requirements:\nRequires Sitting (33%), Standing (33%), Grasping (50%), Reaching (25%), Near Acuity (100%), Speaking (100%), Listening (100%), Sight (100%), Use of fingers and hands (100%)\nTravel: CONUS 5%\nThis position description is not intended as, nor should it be construed as, exhaustive of all responsibilities, skills, efforts or working conditions associated with this job.
