Collaboratively influences change within supply chain and external vendors\nDevelop standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize deployment efficiency\nSupport developing and implementing tools, processes, and systems for tracking, analyzing, and reporting inventory. and other related metrics\nEnable effective operational performance & execution across Meta’s multi-echelon supply chain\nAssist in meeting Sarbanes-Oxley requirements that apply to operations and inventory control within the warehouse\nPerform root cause analysis on discrepancies related to 3PL operations\nDevelop and maintain standard operational procedures (SOPs) that leverage best practices and streamline the global warehouse operations for scalability into new regions while also providing training platforms for new vendors\nEngage with internal customers to gain an in-depth understanding of their current and future distribution needs\nShape the customer-facing strategy of the team and roadmap internal activities in support of the overall mission\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align logistics operations with organizational goals and objectives, and to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize proficiencies and develop/scale operational management practices\nAnalyze data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and develop strategies to address them\nSupport developing and implementing tools, processes, and systems for tracking, analyzing, and reporting inventory\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\nExperience in managing outsourced transportation logistics services\nHands-on working experience with logistics management systems\nDemonstrated leadership experience, such as influencing partners, organizations, successful mentoring, supporting the growth of other employees and teams, etc\n7+ years of experience in global logistics, distribution, or supply chain management, with a proven track record of success in operations\nOperational experience at a logistics provider and distribution experience\nEstablished competence to leverage quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends and drive optimal supply chain execution, including standardizing data analysis across cross-functional partners (e.g., finance, planning, fulfillment)\nExperience driving continuous improvement, development, standardization, and the implementation of processes and systems\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nDemonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies\nExperience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)\nMaster's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or an MBA\nKnowledge of ERP, WM, TMS, and dock schedulers\nExperience identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing process improvements in logistics or supply chain environments\nUnderstanding of relational database structures and systems to help move the field of analysis towards automation integration\nExperience in logistics operations in a global, high-growth, and automated environment\nExperience working in or with the import/export environment of a 3PL or carrier\nDemonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)\n\nAbout Meta:\n\nMeta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
