{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"f80ed0d9ac620e5ea021a8ba","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/f80ed0d9ac620e5ea021a8ba","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/f80ed0d9ac620e5ea021a8ba","title":"IT - Testing Analyst","description":"Pyramid is a leading Information Technology Consulting services company headquartered in metropolitan Atlanta, GA with prime emphasis on the following service offerings:\r\nStaff Augmentation\r\nLifecycle IT solutions\r\nApplication Development & Support\r\nOutsourced Testing\r\nMobile Development and Test Automation\r\nJob Description Job Title: IT - Testing Analyst\r\nDuration: 12+ Months\r\nResponsibilities Application Package Testing and Quality Assurance: Analyze, review and assess packaging requirements, specifications and application packages for testability.\r\nActively participate in technical review meetings to understand business requirements, strategy and delivery methodology.\r\nDetermine test effort/cost for test planning, and execution.\r\nDevelop test plans, test models and test scripts, including conditions and expected results.\r\nParticipate in test plan peer reviews.\r\nPrepare or create test data needed for test execution.\r\nImplement tests on all appropriate levels (e.g. system integration, end to end and package acceptance tests), execute tests and document the results.\r\nEvaluate the results and document the deviations from expected results.\r\nIf applicable, measure the performance of the packages.\r\nTrack test incident/defects and resolutions.\r\nAutomate tests when applicable.\r\nAt times provide consulting expertise for applications and software being tested by others.\r\nRegularly keep Release Manager and Application Delivery Supervisor informed of the status of testing, particularly items that could impact the delivery of the product.\r\nQualifications Proficient with understanding MSI (Microsoft Installer) technology.\r\nProficient with capturing virtual snapshots\r\nStrong depth of Windows 7-64bit operating system knowledge and troubleshooting applications and unit-test packages.\r\nAbility to independently research problems and solutions using peers' online resources.\r\nQuality customer interaction skills.
