In this role, you will design, implement, and debug low-level firmware for storage controllers, with a primary focus on RAID (Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks) functionality on ARM based microprocessors. You will work across the full development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver product features aligned with customer requirements.\n\nKey responsibilities:\n\nDevelop new features and maintain firmware for storage products\n\nWork on storage products supporting PCIe, NVMe and/or SAS/SATA protocols\n\nSupport product solution validation and firmware release activities\n\nGather and analyze logs to root cause and resolve functional, performance and data integrity issues\n\nParticipate in storage product feature design and implementation reviews\n\nCollaborate with hardware and validation teams for system integration\n\nTroubleshoot low-level firmware and hardware interaction issues using DSTREAM and logical analyzers\n\nQualification:\n\nBachelor's degree in CS, ECE, or EE and 2+ years of related experience, or\n\nMaster’s degree in CS, ECE, or EE\n\nStrong programming skills in C (and assembly language is desirable).\n\nWorking knowledge of embedded processors - ARM\n\nExperience using AI/LLM based tools within an embedded firmware workflow, such as AI coding assistants for code generation, review and debugging, AI-assisted test-case generation and AI-assisted documentation.\n\nCompensation and Benefits\n\nThe annual base salary range for this position is USD 82,500.00 To USD 132,000.00\n\nAs a valued member of our team, you'll be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and the opportunity to receive not only a competitive new hire equity grant, but also annual equity awards, connecting your success directly to the company's growth.
