We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team and help maintain our fleet of heavy construction equipment and trucks.Position SummaryThe Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of diesel-powered construction equipment and vehicles. This position plays a critical role in keeping our operations running safely and efficiently.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic issues on heavy equipment and diesel trucks.Perform routine preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs.Service and repair construction equipment including pavers, rollers, milling machines, excavators, loaders, skid steers, dump trucks, and trailers.Troubleshoot engine, transmission, brake, and hydraulic system problems.Respond to field service calls and perform on-site repairs as needed.Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards.Follow all company safety policies and procedures.QualificationsMinimum 3 years of diesel mechanic experience, preferably in road construction or heavy equipment.Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostics.Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.Experience with CAT, Volvo, Wirtgen, Hamm, John Deere, or similar equipment preferred.Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred but not required.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.BenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceOvertime opportunitiesHealth insurancePaid time off and holidaysRetirement plan optionsCompany-provided uniforms and safety equipmentStable, year-round employmentCompany Description Busy heavy highway construction company Company Description Busy heavy highway construction company
