Role Description We are hiring a full-time, on-site Assistant Manager to join our team in Worcester, MA. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for supporting branch operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff schedules, assisting in achieving financial goals, and maintaining compliance with banking regulations. Daily tasks include leading the team, resolving customer inquiries, overseeing transactions, and contributing to the development and execution of strategies to grow the branch’s performance. The Assistant Manager will also focus on fostering a positive work environment and engaging with the local community to uphold bankHometown’s commitment to community banking. Qualifications Leadership and team management skills to support and guide branch staff.Customer service and interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional banking experiences.Knowledge of banking products, financial operations, and compliance regulations.Analytical and problem-solving abilities to support operational efficiency and resolve customer issues effectively.Proficiency in technology and banking systems, including software and digital tools.Ability to work collaboratively, build relationships, and engage with the community.Minimum of an associate’s degree in business, finance, or a related field (bachelor's degree preferred).Previous experience in banking, retail, or a leadership role is highly desirable.
