They move back and forth between these areas attending to diners and assisting waitstaff with their duties. The duties and responsibilities include:Removing used plates, glasses, cutlery, and napkins from tables after diners are done eatingWiping up water spills, food stains, and dirt from tablesStraightening out the tablecloth or replacing stained onesReplacing cutlery and glassware in anticipation of new dinersRefilling paper napkins, salt and pepper shakers, and any other depleted condiments on the dining tableRefilling drinking glasses with waterBringing out meal orders from the kitchen to the dining tablesHandling cleaning of the dining area at the close of dayAny other additional duties and responsibilities needed to provide a clean environment for the facility
