In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing stock levels, and supporting efficient warehouse and production operations through effective inventory management and process improvement initiatives.\n\nThe Inventory Control Administrator will oversee inventory transactions, monitor material availability, process inventory receipts, issue materials to work orders, and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will help ensure accurate inventory records, timely order fulfillment, and effective coordination between Purchasing, Production, Engineering, and Warehouse operations.\n\nThis position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing manufacturing organization where your inventory control expertise and commitment to continuous improvement will help drive operational excellence and support overall business success.\n\n**Essential Duties and Responsibilities\n\n**\n\nReceive and process inventory shipments from vendors.\n\nVerify quantities received against packing slips and purchase orders.\n\nEnter inventory receipts into the ERP system.\n\nPrint and distribute receiving documentation as required.\n\nPull inventory parts for machine builds using engineering-approved work tickets.\n\nIssue inventory materials to work orders and maintain accurate inventory transactions.\n\nRun inventory shortage reports and communicate shortages to Purchasing.\n\nStage materials and work orders for production teams.\n\nMonitor inventory levels and assist with maintaining minimum stock quantities.\n\nPerform cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventories.\n\nInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.\n\nMaintain organized inventory locations and storage areas.\n\nWork closely with Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Customer Service to ensure material availability.\n\nFollow all company safety policies and procedures.\n\nSupport ERP system improvements and inventory process enhancements.\n\n**Qualifications\n\n**\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\n\nAssociate degree or inventory management certification preferred.\n\n2+ years of inventory control, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.\n\nExperience using ERP systems preferred.\n\nStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.\n\nAbility to read and understand bills of materials (BOMs), work orders, and inventory reports.\n\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\n\nExcellent organizational and communication skills.\n\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods when required.\n\n**Preferred Skills\n\n**\n\nManufacturing or industrial equipment experience.\n\nKnowledge of inventory control best practices.\n\nExperience with cycle counting and physical inventory processes.\n\nForklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification).\n\n**Benefits\n\n**\n\nCompetitive compensation\n\nHealth, Dental, and Vision Insurance\n\n401(k) with Company Match\n\nPaid Time Off and Holidays\n\nLife Insurance\n\nProfessional Development Opportunities\n\n**Why Join Allways Precision?\n\n**\n\nAt Allways Precision, you will be part of a growing team dedicated to rebuilding and servicing world-class grinding equipment.
