Will require rotating weekends, with 1 weekend every 4 weeks.\n\nJob Description\nThe Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing services in an acute care environment, evaluating and treating patients with diverse diagnoses including multi-trauma, spinal cord injuries, strokes, and surgical recoveries. The therapist must be knowledgeable in various treatment modalities and eager to collaborate with the medical team.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nEvaluate patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.\nImplement therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress.\nCollaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.\nAdapt to floating between acute care, medical, ICU, and inpatient rehab units as needed.\nProvide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment plans and outcomes.\nParticipate in clinical meetings and contribute to the interdisciplinary team approach.\nMaintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations and therapy sessions using Epic.\n\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n\nValid Washington State Occupational Therapist license required.\nMinimum of 1 year of acute care experience preferred.\nInpatient rehab experience is a plus.\nKnowledge of assessment protocols for various diagnoses in the acute care setting.\nExperience with functional splints, edema massage, kinesiotaping, and orthoplast required.\nMust be self-driven, adaptable, and work effectively as part of a team.\n\n\nWhy ARMStaffing?\nAt ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
