Digital Content Manager
FMN Creative is seeking a Digital Content Manager to support the execution of organic social, short-form video, email marketing, and user-generated content initiatives across our nonprofit client roster. This is a hands-on role for a multifaceted content creator who is equally comfortable behind the camera, inside an editing platform, and writing strong, compelling copy. As our agency continues to grow, we’re looking for someone who can help maintain digital consistency, strengthen storytelling, and turn strategic direction into clear, effective content that performs across platforms.Position DetailsType: Part-time to start (15–20 hours/week minimum), with opportunity to grow into full-timeLocation: Hybrid (Central New York area preferred as on-site work required)Reports to: CEO / Creative DirectorRequirements: Must be able to work in-person weekly. Organic Content & Community MarketingPlan, manage, and execute monthly organic social content calendarsCreate engaging content for multiple clients across various platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and/or YouTube)Capture, edit, and publish short-form video contentCultivate community engagement and follow-up, including managing and responding to direct messages and commentsPost natively and via scheduling toolsMonitor social media engagement and identify opportunities for optimization2. User-Generated Content & Peer-to-Peer ToolkitsLead client UGC initiatives to increase authentic content captureDevelop peer-to-peer fundraising toolkit content, including social captions, email templates, and messaging guidesCreate clear shot lists and provide creative direction to clients and supportersCoach clients and peer fundraisers on capturing usable, on-brand video contentEdit submitted footage into polished, platform-ready assets3. Email MarketingDraft, format, and schedule recurring email campaigns that align with overall strategyCollaborate with a graphic designer on visual assetsEnsure messaging aligns with campaign and/or fundraising objectivesMonitor performance metrics and apply insights to future campaigns4. Agency Brand GrowthMaintain consistent organic visibility for FMN CreativeRepurpose speaking engagements and thought leadership into content assetsCapture content at select events using professional equipment provided by the agencySupport brand amplification initiatives as the agency expandsAssist with short- and long-form content development to support the overall strategyCore SkillsStrong short-form and long-form copywriting abilityAbility to translate strategy into compelling, platform-appropriate contentConfident content direction and client coaching skillsStrong creative judgment for social-first storytellingOrganized and deadline-driven with strong project ownershipAbility to manage multiple brands while maintaining a distinct voice and toneTechnical RequirementsStrong working knowledge of Meta Business Suite, social scheduling, and reporting toolsProficiency with short-form video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere, Canva, etc.)Basic photography skills and photo editing experience (Lightroom)Comfortable capturing content using professional camera and audio equipment provided by the agencyExperience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.)Experience with community management (Facebook Groups, Circle, Kajabi, etc.)Working knowledge of social, email, and web analytics (including GA4 fundamentals)Comfort working within G-Suite applications and Monday.com project managementBasic graphic design experience preferredOur Ideal CandidateHas 3–5 years of hands-on organic social media experienceBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred)Understands the nuance of nonprofit and mission-driven marketingIs confident operating independently without daily directionIs comfortable coaching clients on content captureWants a consistent part-time role with growth potentialIs excited about contributing to a growing agency expanding nationallyApplication Requirements*Applications must have a portfolio to be reviewed.*Resume highlighting relevant social media, copywriting, and digital marketing experiencePortfolio showcasing your best work, especially:Organic social media campaigns showing performance dataShort-form videos (Reels/TikToks)Copywriting samples across different mediumsNonprofit or purpose-driven organization projects (preferred)Hourly rate commensurate with experience.
