By combining advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we are reinventing how America produces its most critical parts.\nWe’re accelerating our mission with the launch of Factory 3 in Mesa, Arizona, a 290,000-square-foot facility creating 350 new jobs. We are expanding rapidly to support thousands of future hires, launching Hadrian Maritime to expand into naval production, and introducing a Factory-as-a-Service model that delivers complete systems instead of individual parts.\nHadrian is backed by leading investors including T. Rowe Price, Lux Capital, Founders Fund, and Andreessen Horowitz, our fast-growing team is united around reindustrializing American manufacturing for the 21st century and beyond.\nThe Role\nHadrian's engineering organization is scaling fast, and how we plan, build, ship, and respond to incidents needs to scale with it. Right now, that's an open problem. The SDLC processes that will define our engineering culture over the next decade are being built from scratch, and this role owns that work.\nAs Technical Program Manager, SDLC, you will be the connective tissue across engineering, product, infrastructure, DevOps, and SRE. You will not manage a team, but you will drive how those teams operate together: from release management and incident response to program tracking and delivery predictability. This is a high-visibility role with direct access to engineering leadership and meaningful influence over how Hadrian builds software.\nIf you want to design the system, not just work within it, this is the role.\nWhat You'll Do\nDefine and implement SDLC processes across engineering teams, building consistency and scalability where little currently exists\nOwn change management and release processes end to end\nDrive the incident management lifecycle: response, postmortems, and continuous improvement\nEstablish program tracking, reporting, and execution cadence across engineering\nPartner with engineering and product to align roadmap execution and surface delivery risks early\nIdentify bottlenecks in development workflows and implement lasting solutions to improve velocity\nImplement and track SLAs/SLOs for delivery and reliability\nLead cross-functional program execution for critical initiatives\nDrive continuous improvement across tooling, workflows, and engineering operations\nWhat We're Looking For\n5-8 years in Technical Program Management, Engineering Program Management, or closely related roles supporting software development teams\nDeep understanding of the software development lifecycle and the ability to design and implement scalable processes around it\nExperience driving cross-functional alignment across engineering, product, and operations stakeholders\nHands-on experience running or improving incident response systems, including postmortem processes\nStrong program tracking and execution discipline: you know how to keep complex initiatives moving without being the bottleneck\nClear communicator who can operate credibly with both senior leadership and individual contributors\nComfort with tooling like Jira, GitHub, CI/CD systems, incident tools (PagerDuty, Opsgenie), and Confluence\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience\nWhat Will Set You Apart\nExperience at a high-growth or scaling startup, ideally in a 0-to-1 process-building context\nBackground in DevOps, SRE, or software engineering\nExperience implementing or optimizing CI/CD and release automation\nData-driven approach to measuring and improving engineering velocity and reliability\nFamiliarity with developer productivity tooling\nExperience with compliance or audit frameworks in a technical environment\nGrowth & Trajectory\nThis role is foundational. As Hadrian's engineering organization grows, so does the scope of the program management function. The trajectory from this role leads toward ownership of broader engineering operations and org-wide program leadership, with a potential path to Lead TPM or Head of Program Management.\nCompensation\nFor this role, the target salary range is TBD (actual range may vary based on experience).\nThis is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.\nBenefits for Full-time Employees\nMedical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans for employees\n401k\nRelocation support may be provided for certain situations, based on business need.\nFlexible vacation policy\nITAR Requirements\nTo conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
