Build your future with Project Solutions, Inc.\n\nThe Technical Writer is responsible for developing, writing, and editing clear, well-structured, and compelling proposal content. They will synthesize technical input from subject matter experts into cohesive, compliant, and client-focused submissions.\n\nResponsibilities and Duties:\nAnalyze solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs) to identify requirements, evaluation criteria, and instructions.\nOther duties as assigned\nMaintain, update, and track proposals using Excel spreadsheets or other tracking tools and CRM systems.\nSupport post-submission tasks such as amendments, clarifications, or final revisions.\nUpdate all documentation related to proposals.\nConduct research and draft, edit, and format deliverables, reports, and other content as required.\nPrepare and package final submissions in required formats (PDF, portals, printed copies).\nUpdate and design charts, tables, and graphics for proposals.\nContribute to proposal graphics development and assist with marketing collateral and website content.\nEdit documents and technical materials prepared by other staff for clarity, coverage, and consistency.\nMaintain version control of proposal documents throughout development.\nWrite, revise, and edit drafts of proposal responses, including executive summaries and technical, management, past performance, resume, and pricing sections.\nImprove proposal-writing processes by evaluating and redesigning templates, boilerplate, and workflows.\nDevelop proposal content and write persuasive text with win themes and differentiators.\nGather proposal information by identifying sources and interviewing SMEs to develop accurate and compelling content.\nAttend strategy meetings to understand win themes and translate them into clear, aligned, and persuasive proposal content.\nDevelop compliance matrices to ensure all requirements are addressed.\nSupervision:\nSupervision Received: Reports to Executive Team leadership and collaborates closely with internal teams and subject matter experts.\nSupervisory Responsibilities: none\nEducation, Knowledge and Skills:\nBachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, or\nAt least 2 years of experience in proposal writing and/or business development\nProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and PDF tools.\nAbility to meet multiple deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.\nHigh attention to detail and ability to interpret complex documents.\nExcellent organizational and time management abilities.\nFormal proposal certification and training (Shipley, APMP) desired.\nFamiliarity with government procurement terms preferred.\nAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
