Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards Assist in menu planning by preparing components of various menu items with attention to presentation and flavor Execute food preparation tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene Support the kitchen team during busy service hours, ensuring timely delivery of orders Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and excellent service delivery Requirements Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential Experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings demonstrating familiarity with kitchen operations Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices Skilled in knife techniques, meal preparation, and general food industry procedures Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience with menu planning, catering, or fine dining environments is a plus Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Work Location: In person
