This role involves preparing and reviewing a variety of tax returns and financial documents while supporting day-to-day accounting functions for both individual and business clients. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and comfortable working directly with clients in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Prepare individual, business, payroll, and sales tax returns Perform bookkeeping and general accounting tasksMaintain and update financial records accurately and efficientlyWork with accounting and tax software including:QuickBooksAccounting CSProSeriesSageMicrosoft ExcelMicrosoft WordCommunicate directly with clients regarding accounting and tax mattersAnswer telephone calls and assist clients as neededParticipate in ongoing accounting and tax trainingEnsure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all deliverablesQualifications:Active CPA license preferredBachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field (with accounting concentration preferred)Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax preparationExperience with QuickBooks, Accounting CS, ProSeries, Sage, Excel, and WordExcellent communication and client service skillsBilingual (preferred but not required)Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHighly organized with strong attention to detailAdditional Information:Reviews are not required for this positionMust be comfortable working in a client-facing environmentProfessional dress and appearance are expected
