We are actively expanding our Department of War (DoW) and technology footprint.\n\nWe are currently seeking Systems Engineers to support our Cybertron contract, delivering advanced engineering solutions in support of mission-critical defense systems.\n\nThe Systems Engineer will provide engineering expertise to support the design, integration, and optimization of complex systems. This role requires a strong understanding of systems architecture, communications infrastructure, and emerging technologies to ensure operational effectiveness and future scalability.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDevelop comprehensive technical solutions considering:\nSystems architecture\n\nInteroperability and interfaces\n\nNetworking protocols\n\nScalability and expansion capabilities\n\nEnd-to-end system compatibility\n\nAnalyze and recommend solutions to evolving communications and automation challenges.\n\nApply knowledge of satellite communications (SATCOM) and its integration with broader telecommunications networks.\n\nSupport system, software, logistics, and fielding teams with hardware and system-level expertise.\n\nResearch and evaluate emerging technologies for potential implementation.\n\nParticipate in technical meetings, briefings, and stakeholder engagements.\n\nContribute to the development of future system concepts and enhancements.\n\nPerform additional duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications\n\nDemonstrated professionalism and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment\n\nStrong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences\n\nExperience applying engineering principles to analyze, design, test, and evaluate systems\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience working in a Technical Lab environment.\n\nDirect experience with working in a CryptoMod Lab environment.\n\nMilitary trained in COMSEC.\n\nClearance:\nEducation & Experience:\n\nMinimum 5 years’ experience as a Systems Engineer.\n\nBachelor’s degree in a STEM program or IT. 4 years of direct relatable experience can substitute for a degree.\n\nLocation:\n\nThis is a hybrid remote position based on the government customer’s approval.\n\nMonday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Schedule flexing is available with the PM’s approval.\n\nTravel:\n\nTravel requirements will fluctuate but are not expected to be over 15%\n\nJoin the Team:\nTech(x) is a customer centric team, both external and internal customers.
