This role supports the expansion of the Value Added portfolio across Lakeside and Riverside brands by delivering profitable growth, strengthening customer partnerships, and executing strategic sales initiatives.What You'll GetCompetitive compensation based on experienceAffordable, market‐leading medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement plan with company matchPaid vacation and personal timePaid professional development opportunitiesAutonomy within a collaborative, high‐performance sales teamLong‐term growth opportunities with a stable, family‐owned companyWhat You'll DoGrow assigned regional distributors, operators, and broker‐managed accountsDeliver assigned annual volume and profit plans, including quarterly forecastsCollaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to plan and prioritize initiativesIdentify and advance opportunities with complex or large customersLead category management initiatives at the customer and regional levelProvide competitive market intelligence to support business development and incremental growthPlan and execute field‐based promotional activities, including food shows, regional meetings, and training eventsExecute customer agreements while anticipating risks and identifying mitigation strategiesConduct quarterly business reviews to strengthen relationships and drive resultsPlan, negotiate, close, and follow up on customer agreements to create mutually beneficial outcomesMaintain clear communication with Sales Operations on customer opportunities and challengesSupport margin performance by assisting with A/R, credit issues, deductions, samples, and pricing mattersManage broker networks for core products and innovation launches as applicableKeep customers informed of supply and pricing trendsMaintain confidentiality of company information and represent Lakeside Foods professionallyPerform other duties as assignedWhat You'll BringEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree preferred5-10 years of sales experience, preferably in foodservice or food‐related industriesExperience managing regional or national product portfoliosProven success in channel expansion, distributor growth, and strategic account planningSkills & AbilitiesDemonstrated ability to execute an Annual Operating Plan (AOP) at the regional levelStrong experience with foodservice customer relationships and broker managementAbility to sell across multiple product categoriesStrong forecasting, budgeting, and analytical capabilitiesExperience using CRM platforms, Power BI, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong negotiation, communication, and conflict‐resolution skillsAbility to collaborate cross‐functionally and influence outcomesWhy Lakeside FoodsFounded in 1887, Lakeside Foods is a family‐owned company with a long tradition of quality, integrity, and customer partnership.
