The company operates in a clean, air-conditioned environment with CNC capabilities that include waterjet processing, grinding, laser additive manufacturing, EDM processing, milling and other specialized processes.\nResponsibilities:\nIndependently operate multi-axis (up to 5 or 6) CNC machines in a low volume, highly quality-focused environment\nReact to part variations via changes, offsets, etc.\nPerform set-up and dry run of fixtures and processes\nPerform required quality inspections on parts in process using various gages and document results\nPerform routine daily maintenance and upkeep of CNC machinery. Maintain cleanliness of the equipment and the shop floor.\nHighly motivated individual who promotes teamwork with subordinates and peers.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED\nPrevious and proven CNC machine operator experience required. 4 and 5 axis experience a strong plus\nExperience with various CNC control interfaces, making offsets, G and M codes.\nExperience performing set-ups and calibrations of fixtures and machines\nAbility to read a basic blueprint required\nExperience with standard gages for inspection (calipers, mics, indicators, etc.)\nGood communication, interpersonal and mechanical skills. A team player\nComputer skills (data entry, spreadsheet entry) and experience required\nForklift and general warehouse experience a strong plus\nSalary dependent on experience and qualifications.
