They will work on real-world projects, receive mentorship from industry professionals, and participate in workshops and networking events. The program aims to nurture talent, promote innovation, and foster meaningful connections between students and industry professionals. Overall, the SEED program provides students with the skills, knowledge, and connections needed to make a positive impact in the industry.\r\nProgram Dates: June 1, 2026 to August 21, 2026.\r\nPosition Purpose:\r\nIn this role, you will have an opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals within the Controllership group in the Finance organization. You will gain exposure to regulatory and accounting processes while supporting the teams in their day to day as well as month end and regulatory priorities. You will rotate within the various teams to obtain a broad understanding of the function of the Controllership group within the Finance organization.\r\nInternships at Veolia: Gain hands-on experience in at least one career function from Corporate, Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain or Technology.\r\nPrimary Duties/Responsibilities:\r\nAssist in month end accounting and reporting activities.\r\nContribute to special projects and financial analysis as needed.\r\nCollaborate with various teams on process improvement and digital transformation initiatives.\r\nAssist with the accounts payables processes.\r\nPerform key account analysis and/or prepare account reconciliations.\r\nShadow key team members during rotations to understand roles and responsibilities.\r\nAttend department meetings and training sessions.\r\nWork Environment:\r\nEnvironments vary by internship function from office to field to plant.\r\nOur aim is to provide tangible industry job experience to each intern.\r\nQualificationsEducation/Experience/Background:\r\nHigh School Diploma/GED is required.\r\nWorking towards a four year degree and you have Senior status in a finance or accounting major.\r\n3.2 Cumulative G.P.A is required.\r\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:\r\nStrong communication skills, including written, verbal and listening skills.\r\nStrong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.\r\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\r\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\r\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.\r\nAdditional InformationPay Range:$21.00 to $25.00 per hour.\r\nBenefits:Interns are considered temporary employees. Medical and basic life insurance coverage is available to temporary employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week immediately following 60 days of service.
