In this role, you will provide hands-on technical support and leadership on the production floor. You will be responsible for building the team's maintenance capabilities, troubleshooting equipment, and driving operational targets for safety, quality, and efficiency. This is an opportunity to use your technical expertise to directly impact our success.\r\nWhat You'll Do Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and repair routine electrical and mechanical issues on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and drive systems.\r\nPreventative Maintenance: Perform and document mechanical and electrical preventative maintenance using SAP, and proactively identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability.\r\nDrive Improvement: Lead breakdown analysis and root-cause problem-solving efforts to eliminate production losses. Help develop and execute continuous improvement standards (CIL, Centerline, etc.).\r\nCoach & Develop: Train and mentor other technicians to enhance their troubleshooting and repair skills, fostering a culture of technical excellence.\r\nChampion Safety: Uphold and promote all plant safety and GMP requirements, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Confined Space procedures.\r\nWhat You'll Need High school diploma or GED.\r\nPrevious maintenance experience or a formal technical education.\r\nFundamental understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and schematics.\r\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work rotating shifts.\r\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various physical conditions (heat, cold, heights).\r\nPreferred Qualifications A technical degree in industrial maintenance or a related field.\r\n3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or technical environment, especially with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).\r\nDemonstrated experience in a role with a focus on safety and quality.\r\nA Call to Veterans Mars values the leadership, technical skills, and commitment to excellence that military veterans bring to our team.
