In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty bore machines used for underground drilling and construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure precise, efficient, and safe installation of utilities, pipelines, and other infrastructure components. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your technical skills and contribute to vital infrastructure development.\nResponsibilities\nOperate bore machines and horizontal drilling equipment with precision to meet project specifications.\nConduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.\nCollaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other heavy equipment operators to coordinate activities.\nFollow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA regulations.\nAssist with the setup and breakdown of drilling sites, including excavation support using excavators, loaders, dozers, and backhoes.\nMonitor drilling progress, adjust equipment as needed, and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.\nMaintain detailed records of machine operation, project progress, and safety inspections.\nQualifications\nProven experience operating bore machines or horizontal drilling equipment in construction or utility installation projects.\nStrong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, and Caterpillar machinery.\nValid driver’s license\nFamiliarity with construction site safety procedures and OSHA standards.\nAbility to read technical manuals and interpret project plans accurately.\nConstruction site experience involving excavation, paving, or underground utilities is highly desirable.\nKnowledge of construction equipment such as graders and horizontal drill rigs enhances your effectiveness on the job.
