If so, we want to hear from you!We’re looking for a Field Service Controls Technician to join our dynamic Service Team. In this role, you’ll be the face of our company at customer sites across North America and beyond - installing, starting up, and supporting cutting-edge automated machinery in the field.What You’ll Be DoingLead the installation and startup of our high-tech machines at customer facilities.Travel to various customer sites to troubleshoot, repair, and commission equipment.Perform electrical diagnostics and PLC troubleshooting on a wide range of automation equipment.Provide remote support via phone and online tools to assist customers and fellow technicians.Collaborate with engineering on machine runoffs and pre-shipment checks.Train customers and junior technicians on machine operation and troubleshooting.Prepare clear, detailed service reports after field visits.Contribute to continuous improvement by reviewing in-shop builds for potential field issues.What You Bring To The TableAssociate degree or trade school certification in Electrical Engineering, or 2–3 years of hands-on experience in automation, material handling, or machine controls.Solid knowledge of electrical systems and PLC programming/diagnostics.Strong troubleshooting instincts and the ability to handle multiple projects at once.Excellent communication skills—able to clearly explain technical concepts to a wide range of audiences.Willingness and ability to travel 65–75%, including some international trips.Physical & Work EnvironmentMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, and work in environments with varying temperatures and noise levels.Expect hands-on work: standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and getting into tight spaces when needed.Perks of the RoleVariety!
