Patient Care Coordinator / Medical Biller

We have an open position for a patient care coordinator or medical biller that is a motivated individual with a passion for helping people. The position will include submitting authorization requests to various insurance companies on behalf of our patients. It will also include ensuring that all the needed documentation is in place to aide in successfully obtaining authorization/reimbursement for the prosthetic and orthotic equipment needed. In addition, the position may include processing of medical equipment claims for equipment provided to the patients, and it will also include various other tasks associated with coordinating the highest level of patient care. Experience or training in medical billing/authorizations preferable and past experience in prosthetics and orthotics or durable medical equipment (DME) is a plus.
