Maintenance Technician

This role supports safe and reliable operations by performing preventative and corrective maintenance activities, assisting with troubleshooting efforts, and ensuring work is completed according to company standards and safety procedures.The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with rotating equipment maintenance, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting activities on pumps, air compressors, and related mechanical equipment.Estimate workload requirements and support scheduling activities to meet completion targets.Assist mechanical engineers with planning, testing, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.Support development of proposals, job scopes, and cost estimates as required.Participate actively in all job safety processes and utilize required safety tools and procedures.Review job packs and verify scope, materials, and safety requirements before beginning work.Identify safety hazards associated with assigned tasks and ensure mitigation measures are implemented prior to execution.Execute maintenance work according to approved procedures, schedules, and company standards.Record equipment technical history, maintenance activities, and inspection findings using maintenance management systems and reporting tools.Provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement of job plans and maintenance procedures.Request permits and coordinate with supervisors regarding work authorization and permit delays.Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities for mechanical equipment failures.Maintain effective communication with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.Ensure compliance with company safety, environmental, and operational standards.SkillsPumps and air compressor maintenanceMechanical troubleshooting and repairRotating equipment maintenancePreventative and corrective maintenanceJob planning and workload estimationSafety awareness and hazard identificationTechnical documentation and reportingRoot cause analysis supportEquipment inspection and testingTeam collaboration and communicationMicrosoft Office proficiencyTime management and adaptabilityQualificationsDiscipline-specific certifications, technical training, or equivalent professional experience preferred.Previous experience in mechanical maintenance within industrial, manufacturing, oil & gas, or related environments preferred.Experience maintaining pumps, air compressors, and rotating equipment required.Strong understanding of safe work practices and maintenance procedures.Ability to read and interpret maintenance documentation, work orders, and technical drawings.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and support cross-functional operations.Ability to adapt to changing priorities, workloads, and deadlines.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.Job DetailsLocation: Midkiff, TXPay: $56.23/hrSchedule: Monday-Friday
