For over 40 years, we have been advancing the office of the CFO with our award-winning suite of finance automation applications.\r\nOur solutions streamline all working capital-related processes, including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Cash Flow Management, and Treasury, across both cloud and SAP environments.\r\nOur 10+ hubs across Europe, North America, and India support over 2,800 clients worldwide, reflecting the trust we've built with a diverse global community.\r\nJoin us as we lead the future of finance automation!\r\nThe Freelancer Software Engineer supports the design, development, and delivery of SAP-based business applications.\r\nThe role requires close collaboration with Product Owners and cross-functional teams, ownership of technical solution design, and active contribution within agile delivery setups.\r\nKey Tasks and Accountabilities\r\nRequirement Analysis\r\nAnalyze business and technical requirements.\r\nDesign technical solutions together with the Product Owner.\r\nClarify and communicate technical dependencies and constraints.\r\nSolutioning / Technical Design\r\nActively engage in and own the technical design process.\r\nCreate and maintain technical documentation.\r\nPerform impact analyses and develop proofs of concept where required.\r\nBreak down user stories into technical tasks.\r\nDefine implementation approaches and timelines.\r\nWrite clean, efficient, and maintainable code.\r\nMaintain technical documentation and ensure production readiness.\r\nBusiness Agility\r\nActively participate in agile ceremonies and practices.\r\nContribute to continuous improvement within the team.\r\nCollaboration and Knowledge Sharing\r\nCollaborate across teams and contribute to organization-level initiatives.\r\nSupport and mentor junior team members when required.\r\nTechnical / Professional Qualifications\r\nExperience in the design and development of business applications.\r\nExperience with the implementation and provisioning of ABAP Cloud applications.\r\nHands-on experience with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).\r\nExperience in defining and implementing behaviors in managed and unmanaged scenarios.\r\nProficiency in creating and managing CDS views, business objects, and data models using Core Data Services (CDS).\r\nKnowledge of SAP Clean Core principles.\r\nFluent in English; German is an advantage.\r\nExperience working in agile environments is an advantage.\r\nSkills, Know-how, and Experience\r\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\r\nExperience with ABAP-OO, OData, and REST-based services.\r\nExperience developing SAPUI5 Freestyle Applications and Fiori Elements Applications.\r\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\r\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.\r\nWhy you'll love it here\r\nStep into a dynamic, agile workplace where continuous learning is championed by leadership, and innovation in finance automation is fuelled by cutting-edge tech, AI integration, and strategic SAP transformation.
