For additional information, visit us at www.wipro.com.\nJob Description:\nJob Description\nKey Responsibilities\nTest Design & Execution: Create detailed test plans, scenarios, and scripts, particularly for complex, end-to-end batch processes.\nData Validation: Run and validate batch jobs, DB2 queries, and file-to-file comparisons.\nDefect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Quality Center, or similar.\nEnvironment Management: Utilize TSO/ISPF commands, manage datasets, and use File-AID for data manipulation.\nAnalysis: Review COBOL/PL1 code, analyze JCL for failures (abends), and check spool logs for root cause analysis.\nRequired Technical Skills\nCore Mainframe: JCL (Job Control Language), COBOL, DB2, CICS, VSAM.\nUtilities & Debugging: File-AID, Expeditor, SPUFI, ChangeMan.\nDomain: Knowledge of banking, insurance, or retail systems is often preferred.\nMethodologies: Agile, DevOps (CI/CD pipelines), and risk-based testing.\nMandatory Skills: Mainframe .\n\nExperience: 5-8 Years .\n\nThe expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .\n\nFinal compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
