This position is responsible for assembling roof and floor trusses, working from blueprints and layout drawings, and using a variety of hand and power tools to accurately construct building components.\n\nThe ideal candidate has experience in *carpentry, framing, residential construction, truss assembly, or general construction*. Candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on construction experience are encouraged to apply. Attention to detail, the ability to work safely, and a strong work ethic are essential.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n* Assemble roof and floor trusses according to blueprints, shop drawings, and production specifications\n* Read and interpret construction drawings, measurements, and basic diagrams\n* Measure, cut, position, and secure lumber and other building materials\n* Operate pneumatic nail guns, saws, drills, impact drivers, and other hand and power tools\n* Properly position lumber and components on truss tables or assembly stations\n* Install metal plates, fasteners, braces, and other truss components\n* Inspect completed trusses for proper dimensions, alignment, and workmanship\n* Identify and correct assembly issues before products move to the next stage\n* Safely move and handle lumber and finished trusses\n* Maintain a clean and organized work area\n* Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements\n* Meet daily production and quality expectations\n* Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment\n* Perform other construction and production duties as assigned\n\nQualifications\n\n* Previous experience in *carpentry, framing, truss assembly, construction, or manufacturing* preferred\n* Ability to read a tape measure and accurately perform basic measurements\n* Basic understanding of construction practices and building materials\n* Comfortable using hand and power tools\n* Ability to read basic blueprints, drawings, or production diagrams\n* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions\n* Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills\n* Ability to work independently and as part of a team\n* Reliable attendance and strong work ethic\n* Ability to work in a physically demanding environment\n\nPhysical Requirements\n\n* Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods\n* Ability to repeatedly lift and move lumber and building materials\n* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly\n* Ability to work around sawdust, noise, and typical manufacturing/construction conditions\n* Ability to safely operate and work around production equipment\n\nPreferred Experience\n\nCandidates with experience as a:\n\n* Carpenter\n* Framing Carpenter\n* Rough Carpenter\n* Truss Assembler\n* Truss Builder\n* Construction Laborer\n* Framing Laborer\n* Residential Construction Worker\n* Woodworker\n* General Laborer\n* Building Material Production Worker\n\nWe are looking for someone who *shows up, works hard, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in building a quality product*.
