This position requires a professional capable of managing complex administrative contract actions and settlement procedures independently. You will serve as a key resource for the contracting team, ensuring the accuracy of modification packages and the integrity of the contract file lifecycle. This is a 100% in-person position located at the customer site; remote work or telework is not available for this role. Provide general contract administration support including:Administrative Modifications: Execute a full range of non-decisional modifications, including COTR and CO changes, incremental funding, funding de-obligations, period of performance extensions, level-of-effort reconciliations, Award Fee releases, and Government Property disposition.Modification Package Development: Compile all required supporting documentation and correspondence. Navigate the Sponsor's contract writing system to create modifications and document actions in accordance with specific contracting team procedures to ensure zero-error processing.Contract Settlement & Closeout: Lead the administrative steps for contract settlements; work with liaison auditors to review final invoices and prepare closeout records, recommending the use of waivers or negotiated settlements for approval.Data Management: Accurately enter and research data within applications such as CWS, ALM, and COGNOS. Identify outstanding actions, manage funding assignments, and draft responses to internal data calls.File Maintenance: Ensure the rigorous maintenance of contract files (electronic and hardcopy). Responsible for scanning, printing, tabbing, and labeling of files, and facilitating the secure transport of files for storage.Office Operations: Perform all administrative responsibilities for the assigned contracting team, including updating system access, coordinating data transfers between networks, and recording time and attendance. Required Qualifications: Experience: Five (5) years of administrative support experience, including developing correspondence, providing customer service, scheduling, and filing documents. Contracting Core: Minimum of three (3) years of direct work experience with contract administration. Technical Skills: Five (5) years of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Clearance: Must possess an active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph. Desired Qualifications: Certifications: DAWIA Level 1 or higher in Contracting, or FAC-C Level 1 or higher certification. Systems: Experience with Acquisition Lifecycle Management (ALM) system and/or Contract Writing System (CWS). Advanced Education: Associate's degree or other advanced degree. Acquisition Background: One (1) year of work experience with Government (Federal, State, or Local) acquisition contracting processes. This would require the ability to move files, or boxes with file data, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary, ability to lift up to 40lbs.
