Coordinating with other departments and local senior management for security support functions, policies and procedures where needed.\r\nMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES\r\nMaintaining current knowledge of applicable regulations and government policy including the Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) Title 32 Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) and SRC Policies and Security Standards, Practices and Procedures (SPPs) to ensure the effective implementation and management by the SRC Security Program\r\nDeveloping internal operating policies and procedures to ensure compliance; enforcement of existing corporate standard operating procedures\r\nConducting internal inspections for assigned location and providing assistance to other company locations as requested/required\r\nPreparing for and hosts inspections and/or audits by cognizant Government security officials; coordinating scheduling for planned visits and briefings\r\nDirectly supervising the security officers assigned under his/her respective program\r\nProviding guidance to security officers in the development of supplemental security program procedures in compliance with DD254s\r\nServing as the primary point of contact for senior leadership; may be required to attending meetings, conducting briefings, and contributing to division business development activities\r\nPreparing and/or contributing to annual budget planning process and managing division expenditures\r\nServing as an integral member of the Enterprise Threat Working Group providing oversight and guidance to the Insider Threat Security Office in identifying and documenting local threats & vulnerabilities; making recommendations for risk management reports and identifying threat indicators for entry into the Insider Threat database.\r\nAssuming complete responsibility for the following security functions\r\nFacility Security Officer (FSO)\r\nSpecial Security Representative (SSR)\r\nInformation System Security Manager (ISSM)\r\nLI-DH1\r\nRequirements\r\nThis job requires a bachelor's degree in an area of specialty and 6-10 years of progressively more responsible experience in administration and management of a DoD security program or related area or 12+ years of relevant experience\r\nMust have certification from the Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) for of the FSO Program Management Course for a Possessing Facility\r\nHas advanced knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job\r\nExperience/knowledge in all tasking assigned to staff\r\nMust be able to effectively multi-task and manage workload priorities to meet end-user deadlines.
