Elite Constellation Planner

Possess a current or final Top Secret/SCI security clearance.Job DescriptionAssist in developing, integration, aligning, and implementing Joint & Air Force Exercise objectives, Policy and Guidance.Coordinate with MAJCOMs and Component planners, to collect and compile exercise requirements in preparation for Elite Constellation planning conferences and assigned milestones.Coordinate with MAJCOMs, National Guard Bureau and Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) program stakeholders, to collect operational and resourcing requirements for participation in Elite Constellation and associated activities.Provide Air Force input to the planning process for joint exercise schedules and joint exercise development and assist the appropriate USAF MAJCOM representative through the Joint Staff’s Joint Training Coordination Program (JTCP), to include coordination on other Service requests for USAF forces to support other Service exercises, as well as USAF requests for other Services support for USAF exercises and USAF Opposing Force (OPFOR) JTCP.Participate interface with appropriate agencies for overall exercise planning and coordination, and to identify mission area exercise shortfalls ensuring exercises meet Joint and USAF guidelines.Attend various other meetings throughout the performance period, some of which will require travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations.Participate in teleconference, video teleconference, and secure video teleconference meetings when appropriateQualificationsExperience with AF operations in either air, space, or cyber domain. Experience in AF, Joint and Coalition exercise planning, execution, and assessmentExperience with multi-domain and multi-functional interoperability and training requirementsHave ability to collaborate with disparate organizations and develop strategies to accomplish Elite Constellation and associate initiatives.Document participation/support provided in a monthly status report.Knowledge Skills And Abilities (KSA)Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience at the MAJCOM or above in interpreting or editing major policy and procedural guidance documentation for the Department of Defense while conducting and understanding complex analyses and studies to support directors of staff and senior leadership.Minimum of ten to fifteen (10-15) years of tactical and operational level experience in major AF weapon systems while supporting military operations.Knowledge of Tactical/Operational Training concepts.Possess a current or final Top Secret/SCI security clearance.Powered by JazzHR
