This role ensures all necessary documentation is collected, title issues are resolved, and files are prepared accurately and efficiently for closing while providing exceptional customer service to buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, and attorneys.\n*THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN OUR VALPARAISO OFFICE*\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nProcess new title orders.\nReview purchase agreements and lender instructions.\nOrder surveys, HOA documents, payoffs, and other required documents.\nExamine title commitments and identify title defects or requirements.\nWork with underwriters to resolve title issues and clear title objections.\nCoordinate closing schedules with buyers, sellers, lenders, attorneys, and real estate agents.\nCommunicate regularly with all parties regarding transaction status.\nVerify legal descriptions, ownership information, and vesting.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, underwriter guidelines, and state and federal regulations.\nObtain and review payoff statements and prepare disbursement information.\nAssist in helping our CAS Department & verifying wires when needed.\nMaintain accurate electronic and physical transaction files.\nAssist the escrow officer or closer with pre-closing and post-closing tasks as needed.\nMeet established deadlines while managing multiple files simultaneously.\nProvide outstanding customer service throughout the transaction.\nIndiana Title License\nIndiana Notary Public License\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nPrevious title, escrow, mortgage, or real estate experience preferred.\nKnowledge of title insurance practices and real estate closing procedures.\nFamiliarity with title software (SoftPro, RamQuest, Qualia, ResWare, or similar) preferred.\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, TEAMS and Excel.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nUnderstanding title commitments and title insurance policies.\nKnowledge of deeds, mortgages, liens, easements, judgments, and legal descriptions.\nAbility to read and interpret real estate contracts.\nStrong customer service orientation.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality.\nExcellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to prioritize workload and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.\nPreferred Experience\n2+ years of title processing or escrow experience.\nExperience with residential and commercial transactions.\nFamiliarity with state-specific title and escrow regulations.\nPerformance Expectations\nMaintain accurate, compliant transaction files.\nMeet company production and closing deadlines.\nDeliver exceptional customer service to all clients.\nMaintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.\nContribute to a
