We bring a wealth of experience in structural engineering, capable of producing output in BIM environments or traditional CADD formats to meet client needs. Our analytical capacity extends to performing and reviewing linear and non-linear dynamic modeling of buildings and structures.\n\nResponsibilities\nUtilize Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD software with a focus on structural engineering design.\nEdit and manipulate Revit families and their parameters.\nSet up new projects independently and link outside models into structural models.\nExtract model elements such as grid lines and project levels for use in structural models.\nAssist in the preparation of construction contract documents, plans, and reports.\nConduct structural engineering analyses and design for projects of all sizes.\nWork concurrently on multiple projects.\nPerform calculations using company standard software.\nCommunicate effectively and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.\nEssential Skills\nProficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD software.\nExperience in structural analysis and design.\nCapability to set up and manage projects independently.\n5+ years of experience in design projects with oversight.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nAdditional Skills & Qualifications\nExperience in residential or commercial projects.\nProject management skills.\nFamiliarity with structural steel design.\nWork Environment\n\nWork is based in the office located in Fairfax, with project management responsibilities, guidance of junior staff, quality assurance in design, and client interaction.
