Team members work closely with attorneys and staff to serve clients efficiently and effectively.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Litigation Paralegal role based in Myrtle Beach, SC. The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys through all stages of the litigation process, including case intake, discovery, trial preparation, and case closure. Typical responsibilities include preparing and organizing legal documents, coordinating and managing case files, and maintaining accurate calendars and deadlines. The role involves assisting with drafting pleadings and motions, and helping prepare exhibits, summaries, and trial notebooks. The Litigation Paralegal will also communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel, and assist with filing and service in both state and federal courts as applicable.QualificationsStrong skills in legal document preparation and management, including organizing, formatting, and finalizing case materials.Experience with document review, including identifying key facts, managing discovery materials, and maintaining organized case files.Ability to draft, proofread, and revise pleadings and related litigation documents with attention to detail.Experience preparing and assisting with motions, including assembling supporting exhibits and ensuring compliance with court rules.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and legal professionals.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with common office and legal software (e.g., word processing, case management, e-filing systems). Experience with Clio is a plus.Prior litigation paralegal or legal assistant experience preferred; paralegal certificate or relevant degree is a plus.
