Assists in developing electrical system designs and analytical models using working knowledge of applicable codes and standards. Collaborates with engineers, designers, modelers, and external stakeholders to deliver coordinated, high-quality electrical design solutions. Leads construction administration activities as assigned and supports project execution through technical coordination and risk evaluation.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssists in the management and production of electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations from conceptual design through construction documents under reduced supervision.\nSupports review of electrical deliverables to ensure scope, quality, and coordination standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.\nAssists in development of electrical system designs using working knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and industry practices.\nLeads construction administration activities, including reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and participating in site visits, in collaboration with managers.\nUtilizes CAD and modeling tools to create and review 2D drawings and 3D electrical models.\nAssists project managers with cost tracking, scope management, and technical risk evaluation related to electrical systems.\nParticipates in professional development and supports implementation of technical and process improvements.\n\nEducation Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience required.\n\nWork Experience:\n6+ years of experience in electrical engineering required.\n\nCertifications and Licenses:\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license required.\nNCEES record for licensure maintenance preferred.\n\nDPR Construction is a forward-thinking, self-performing general contractor specializing in technically complex and sustainable projects for the advanced technology, life sciences, healthcare, higher education and commercial markets.
