All of these while having fun truly makes FlexTrade a wonderful place to work.\r\nFlexONE Team\r\nWe are looking for talented developers who are passionate about technology to work on FlexTrade's OEMS platform, FlexONE, which is our state-of-the-art, fully integrated Order Management System (OMS) and Execution Management System (EMS). Our team is responsible for the development of the firm's flagship, buy-side OMS.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nDesign and implement new features on the product roadmap using technologies including Scala, Akka, and gRPC.\r\nTake initiative and be resourceful in gathering requirements from Project Managers and other sources.\r\nIdentify and implement performance enhancements in the core product.\r\nImplement bug fixes and assist with production support as needed.\r\nCollaborate with other members of the team while proactively problem solving.\r\nRequired Skills\r\nWhile we believe a great developer will pick up and grow skills as needed, the minimum requirements for this job include:\r\nA Bachelor's degree (or higher) in CS or a related field.\r\nAt least 2 years of professional software development experience.\r\nAdvanced proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Scala, C#, etc.).\r\nA firm understanding of object-oriented design and development practices.\r\nExcellent communication skills to articulate ideas, problems, and solutions.\r\nMotivation and determination to achieve, learn, and grow.\r\nDesirable Skills\r\nExperience with functional programming concepts (Scala is a plus).\r\nKnowledge of SQL and relational databases.\r\nDoes this sound like you?
