Civil Engineering Project Manager
SUMMARY:
The Etica Group is actively seeking a highly talented Civil Engineering Project Manager for immediate employment in the Indianapolis area. The selected candidate will plan, design, and manage infrastructure construction projects in a multidisciplinary setting. The candidate must possess a positive attitude toward expanding their technical abilities while further developing their project management skills to lead complex and multidisciplined projects. Our hybrid work environment will introduce the candidate to a broad skill set through experiences within the office and in the field within all of the company’s specialties.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Management:
Meet/work/collaborate with project stakeholders (other engineers, sub-consultants, contractors, and owners representatives).
Understand project requirements, constraints, and objectives.
Develop project scope of work, schedules and fee estimates.
Manage project workflow in a multi-disciplined team.
Adhere to project schedule and manage the adjustment of any schedules when appropriate.
Speak and lead meetings with stakeholders, the public, and the project team.
Embrace the role of stewardship in service to our clients.
Assist the Department Manager in the management of resource (staffing) needs and in coordination with other project managers.
Develop Site, Utility and Infrastructure Engineering Construction Plans and Specifications:
Perform project engineering tasks as assigned within the Civil Department.
Necessary use of AutoCAD or Civil 3D for detailed design.
Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and general website navigation required.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, or related field | required
4+ years of experience in site civil design | required
AutoCAD Civil 3D experience | required
Registered PE | required
High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion.
Ability to work with, train and mentor less-experienced engineers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
