Aerospace Technical Design Level 5 | Renton, Washington, United States Indotronix is seeking an :Aerospace Technical Design Level 5 Location:-Renton, Auburn, Puyallup, and Everett Washington Duration: 12 Months 100% onsite at the following locations - Renton, Auburn, Puyallup, and Everett Washington AA degree Shifts: First, could rotate 2nd or 3rd candidate must be ok Job Description Seeking a Technical Designer to support aerospace design, drafting, materials, and process engineering activities throughout the product lifecycle. This role involves creating and modifying CAD models, supporting production and fabrication operations, resolving product/process issues, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Apply drafting principles and design concepts to support real-time product and process issue resolution within fabrication and production environmentsCreate and modify drafted parts, assemblies, product structures, and engineering models based on engineering input and operational requirementsTranslate conceptual engineering ideas into detailed physical part geometry and assembly definitionsPerform model definition changes using CATIA or equivalent CAD systemsSupport design improvements and engineering change activities throughout the product lifecycleCollaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, stress, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to resolve technical challengesProvide materials and process support for electrical, electronic, and electromechanical components used in aerospace productsReview engineering specifications, component materials, and process documentation to support product certification and productionAnalyze non-conformances related to electrical components and support corrective and preventative actionsSupport engineering lab activities and failure analysis investigations for failed componentsEvaluate emerging technologies for potential aerospace applications and product improvementsProduce engineering requirements, specifications, and technical documentation related to tools, materials, equipment, and processesSupport production, operational, and quality concerns in a fast-paced agile environmentWork flexible schedules including multiple shifts, overtime, and weekends as required Required Skills Experience with aerospace design, drafting, detail parts, and assembly structuresProficiency with CATIA or equivalent 3D solid modeling softwareKnowledge of design product structures including details, assemblies, and installationsUnderstanding of machining processes for metallic partsExperience using Integrated Visualization Tool (IVT) or similar systemsStrong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skillsAbility to support fast-paced production and manufacturing environments Preferred Skills Investigative and analytical problem-solving skillsExperience working in engineering lab or failure analysis environmentsProject management and multi-tasking experienceExperience coordinating with multiple organizations and engineering teamsFamiliarity with aerospace materials and process engineering Education / Experience Associate degree with typically 9+ years of experience in drafting, aerospace design, CAD modeling, or related engineering support disciplines, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
