Information Technology Applications Analyst
The Applications Analyst is responsible for providing full application lifecycle management services, including installing, updating, and technical support; implements purchased/acquired software packages; performs required integration and scripting tasks. Works directly with business users and other technology groups on requirements analysis, planning, design, configuration, integration, scripting, testing, debugging, documenting, and support of Firm business applications. Interfaces with and manages vendor deliverables and acts as liaison and primary point of contact for assigned systems/platforms. The Analyst works both independently and collaboratively with other IT groups in support of assigned applications. The Analyst has deep analytical and trouble-shooting skills to provide technical support to resolve issues with application processes, data integrity, and support users as needed and is expected to work with both technical and business users in a collaborative team environment for application projects. The Analyst also demonstrates and further develops knowledge and/or experience in department standard development platforms, tools, and architectures to better facilitate implementation and support of systems/programs that meet Firm requirements.Required Qualifications:College degree and experience in a law firm or comparable services industry preferred.Minimum eight years solid work experience in software configuration, implementation, and IT support.Working knowledge of the varying nature of software projects and capable of working effectively on small, medium, and large projects, spanning product selection/acquisition/implementation/integration in a windows desktop and server environment.Solid understanding of technology areas such as cloud computing, identity security and access controls, and data analytics.Solid working experience in current Microsoft technologies, including SQL Server database and Reporting Services, SSRS development, SQL Development, PowerShell scripting, IIS, Windows Server security and administration, Active Directory, Azure Fundamentals, Team Foundation Server, and Service Now.Experience with Aderant Expert software and Power BI platforms a plus.Jones Day offers competitive salaries and benefits to all employees. The starting salary range for this Cleveland position is $100,000 – $125,000.
