Pervan is an aerospace tooling shop based in Compton, CA with a focus on sheet metal, hydroforming, CNC punching, routing, brake forming, water jet, machining and assemblies.\nResponsibilities:\nSetting up and operating CNC machines\nInterpret technical drawings and instructions to understand the cutting patterns and specifications required for each job\nSelect and install the appropriate nozzles, abrasive materials, and cutting parameters for different materials and thicknesses\nLoad and secure materials, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.\nMonitor and adjust machine settings, such as pressure, speed, and nozzle height, to achieve accurate and precise cuts\nParticipate in quality checks to ensure that finished products meet the required specifications and tolerances\nTroubleshooting and resolving any issues or malfunctions that may occur during operation\nPerform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, replacing worn or damaged parts, and replenishing abrasive materials\nAdhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Shop employees must wear eye protection, hearing protection, safety shoes, and gloves.
