The Program Coordinator plays a critical role in the delivery and enhancement of programmatic activities aimed at boosting college degree completion and enriching student success.\nThe position provides the development and implementation of student success and support programs. Program management includes oversight and the successful execution of the department’s mentoring and peer leader program, leadership training, summer bridge, and onboarding initiatives. Additionally, the position collaborates closely with divisional partners, academic departments and various student services to implement a comprehensive educational program that equips students with a holistic support network, promoting wellbeing and fostering seamless pathways to degree attainment and overall undergraduate student success.\nMinimum Qualifications (Required):\nEducation:\nBachelors with 2 years relevant experience, however will consider candidates with Masters and 1 year\nExperience working on student success initiatives in higher education\nDemonstrated success in managing multiple programs, developing and executing new programs and initiatives within a diverse environment\nExperience designing and executing successful campus programming, student success initiatives, or retention-related programs for a diverse population\nSkills:\nStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with faculty, staff, students, and external partners\nAbility to work independently, be organized, balance competing priorities to meet deadlines, and monitor progress toward achieving program goals\nAttention to detail, and an evidence-driven mindset in decision-making\nAbility to work with data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for program improvement\nPreferred Qualifications:\nHigher education experience preferred\nDemonstrated expertise and experience working with first-generation college students\nKnowledge of best practices in student retention in higher education\nFamiliarity or ability to learn how to use: Salesforce, SiS, Microsoft Teams, and presentation software\nBilingual in Spanish and English desirable\nSpecial Instructions to Applicants:\nOnly Internal Professional (SEIU 888 Professional Union) Bargaining candidates will be considered during the first 10 business days of the posting.
