With 40+ international locations and products sold in more than 125 different countries, Samtec’s global presence enables its unmatched customer service.\n\nSummary/Objective: Serve as the Technical Maintenance Supervisor for all shifts and all processes in connector manufacturing.\n\nEssential Functions/ Responsibilities:\n\nResponsible for the general safety of all Automation/Hand Fill equipment.\nCoordinate schedules for technical group to ensure all manufacturing times have adequate Technician coverage.\nResponsible for management of staff including discipline, performance evaluations, etc.\nResponsible for timely procurement of necessary tools, supplies, and equipment required for the technician staff to perform their jobs effectively and efficiently.\nCoordinate projects on existing machinery to improve quality, throughput, and safety.\nResponsible for Preventative Maintenance program for all manufacturing process related equipment.\nWork with engineering, quality, and customer service departments to investigate issues related to automated manufacturing.\nInterface with engineering on tooling/machinery for new projects and products associated with automated manufacturing.\nCould potentially involve handling hazardous materials.\n\n“The responsibilities as defined are intended to serve as a general guideline for this position.
