The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of materials and products within our distribution center. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, safety protocols, and mechanical knowledge to ensure smooth and safe handling of goods.\nDuties\nOperate tow motors safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the stamping facility.\nLoad, unload, and transport raw materials, work-in-progress items, and finished products.\nPerform routine inspections of tow motors and report any maintenance issues.\nEnsure materials are delivered to the correct production areas on time.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of materials.\nFollow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.\nQualifications\nPrevious experience in warehouse distribution or related fields is preferred.\nFamiliarity with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts, cranes, and order pickers.\nStrong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.\nExperience with warehouse management systems is a plus.\nAbility to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) consistently throughout the shift.\nKnowledge of shipping & receiving processes is beneficial.\nA valid forklift operator certification is highly desirable.
