Job descriptionJob Title : Netscaler WAF ArchitectJob Location: Houston, TX( 5 days onste)14+ years onlyWe are looking for a senior WAF Architect to lead the architecture design and migration strategy for enterprise Web Application Firewall and applicationingress on public cloud.The role is designled you will own targetstate designs migration approach security posture decisions and the technical narrative that goes to client architecture review boards.You will work with delivery engineers application owners cloudplatform teams and the clients security compliance functions to deliver WAF solution.Key ResponsibilitiesLead design workshops requirementgathering sessions and tradeoff discussions with senior client stakeholders.Design WAF and application ingress architecture and produce design documents HLD LLD traffic flow diagrams and policy enforcement maps.Define targetstate WAF solution covering load balancing content switching TLS termination mTLS certificate management and WAF policy enforcement across multiregion Azure environment.Define BCDR architecture for applicationingress and WAF layers including failover patterns RPORTO targets.Align designs with enterprise reference architectures zerotrust principles and applicable regulatory baselines as relevant to the engagement.Define migration approach options including dependencies risk outage profile and rollback.Set the OWASP Top 10 baseline and the governance model for tuning exemptions signatures and bot management.Define API security controls schema validation rate limiting abuse protection and how they layer with downstream API gateways.Required Qualification CertificationsMinimum 10-15 years of experience in managing enterprise WAF NetScaler F5 Cloudflare Akamai.Handson architecture and operations experience on any 1 besides NetScaler WAF F5 WAF Akamai WAF Cloudflare WAF.Architecture understanding of Azure cloud load balancer vNet.OWASP Top 10 and API Security Top 10 positive vs negative security models bot management.Demonstrable experience leading WAF or ingress migration brownfield to greenfield onprem to cloud or vendor swap including cutover rollback and riskacceptance ownership.Preferred SkillsExcellent problemsolving and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and in a teamoriented environment.Experience in largescale enterprise environments.Automation and scripting Python Terraform.Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and implementation.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.SkillsMandatory Skills : WAF DDoS-F5
