This role ensures optimal performance of packaging processes across internal and external sites, supports capital projects, and drives innovation in packaging formats and materials while maintaining compliance with operational and quality standards.\n\nShift\nMon - Fri, will be discussed in interview. Please note that this position could exceed 40 hours per week per business needs.\n\nQualifications & Skills\n\nBachelor’s degree in Packaging Science, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.\n\n3+ years of experience in packaging engineering within a manufacturing or contract manufacturing environment.\n\nStrong knowledge of packaging equipment, material properties, and preventive maintenance strategies.\n\nExperience supporting capital projects and collaborating with global teams and CMOs.\n\nExcellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.\n\nFamiliarity with regulatory and quality standards for dietary supplement or food packaging preferred.\n\nContinuous improvement mindset with ability to identify opportunities for efficiency and innovation.\n\nRequirements\n\nA legal right to work in the United States\n\nMust pass pre-employment drug screen and background check\n\nResponsibilities\nGlobal Equipment & Materials Expertise\n\nServe as the subject matter expert for finished format packaging equipment (bottling, blister, stick pack, sachet, etc.) and packaging materials across global operations.\n\nDevelop strategies for equipment setup and material selection to improve efficiency and reduce downtime across multiple sites.\n\nProvide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for internal plants and contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs).\n\nCapital Project & Contract Manufacturing Support\n\nProvide technical input for packaging‑related capital projects, including equipment upgrades and new installations globally.\n\nPartner with engineering, operations, and CMOs to ensure successful execution of projects within timelines and budgets.\n\nSupport preventive maintenance planning for packaging lines to maximize uptime and reliability.\n\nPackaging Development & Project Management\n\nManage changes to packaging components and materials, including labels, cartons, foils, sachets, and other printed or structural materials.\n\nCoordinate trials for new packaging formats and material validations to ensure manufacturability across global sites and CMOs.\n\nCollaborate with Supply Chain, Quality, and Production teams to ensure seamless execution of packaging changes and reprints.\n\nCompany Diversity and Inclusion Commitment\nWe are a global leader in taste, scent, and nutrition, offering our customers a broader range of natural solutions and accelerating our growth strategy.
